Ready, set, sweat! Meet our new P.E. teacher

John Einhorn is a native San Diegan who recently retired after a 30-year career in corporate finance and accounting, including roles with San Diego technology leaders Qualcomm and ASML. After reaching this career milestone, John decided to pursue his passion for teaching, coaching, and helping others lead healthy and active lives.

Over the years, John has taught and coached a variety of sports to both children and adults, including soccer, volleyball, tennis, and pickleball. For the past four years, he has also served the local community as a pickleball instructor through the Poway Adult School program.

John is excited to bring his enthusiasm for physical activity, sports, and education to his new role as an elementary school PE coach at Adobe Bluffs Elementary School. He looks forward to helping students develop confidence, teamwork, sportsmanship, and an appreciation for staying active that they can carry with them throughout their lives.
