What is an Impact Teacher?
The Foundation funds three credentialed IMPACT Teachers who help in key areas of learning, including math, reading, and writing. Our Organization is proud to fully fund the hiring of these teachers to help all of our students and teachers.
Hello! My name is Cindy Davis, and I’m excited to serve as an Impact Teacher again this year. I hold a Multiple Subject Credential and bring more than 10 years of teaching experience to this role. I support K–2 students through small group instruction and classroom support, helping students who need extra assistance as well as those ready for additional challenges. This position is funded by the Adobe Bluffs Educational Foundation, and I am grateful to be part of such a wonderful school community.
My name is Sarah Pemble and I am thrilled to be the impact teacher for grades 3-5 this year! I grew up in the Bay Area, but I love calling San Diego home. I attended UC Davis, where I received my Bachelor’s degree in English (teaching emphasis), my teaching credential, and my Master’s degree in Education. You may have seen me around the Adobe Bluffs campus, as I have worked as both a substitute teacher and as a site substitute in the past. I have three kids (twin sons and a daughter) who also went through Adobe Bluffs and are now in middle school. Until the end of last year, you might have seen me co-chairing the Arts Attack program and the Book Fair. In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, going to the beach, singing in the PQ Community Choir, hiking, and spending time with my family and friends. I am very excited to join the Adobe Bluffs staff this year as an impact teacher and I can’t wait to get started!
Hi, I’m Breanna Haling, and I’m excited to be joining the Ravens family! I have nineteen years of teaching experience, primarily working with students in first through fourth grade. Outside of school, I’m a mom to a sophomore at Mt. Carmel High School and a seventh grader at Meadowbrook Middle School. I enjoy baking, exercising, and sports. With two active children, you can often find me on the sidelines, cheering them on and supporting them in all of their activities.
