Help us heat up the donation thermometer and make your class the coolest!

So far this school year, 125 out of all 385 Adobe Bluffs families have donated to the Foundation. Our goal is 100% participation because 100% of proceeds go directly to Adobe Bluffs Elementary School.

The class with the most families that have donated in lower (K-2) and upper (3-5) grades will win a popsicle party on Friday, February 18.

The teachers and staff have been working closely with the Adobe Bluffs Educational Foundation to fill the immediate needs for our school and students. Thanks to your generous contributions, over the past month the Foundation has helped fund a number of immediate needs, including salaries for two site-specific substitute teachers to be hired exclusively for our campus. With the staffing shortage gap that all schools are facing, this will help ensure our school is covered! That means when teachers are out, your child’s class will have continuity and someone familiar with our students to step in and lead the class. When a substitute teacher is not needed, these site-specific subs will jump in and provide additional impact teacher support around campus, supporting small group learning and lending an extra hand in classrooms.

Additionally, we have identified a need for more outside learning spaces to ensure social distancing and facilitate small group learning. The Foundation has funded 8 outdoor tables and umbrellas, as well as mobile whiteboards.

And finally, the Foundation has funded 200 COVID tests for teachers and staff. The district only provided COVID tests to students, not teachers and staff. These test are an additional measure to ensure our entire campus community stays safe and healthy.

The total financial allocation for these items in January was $44,300. This could not happen without your generous contributions to the Foundation. Thank you!

Support the Foundation for $150 per student or whatever you can give. Any amount contributed is greatly appreciated.
